Listing Buddy ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Fennec Forge LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our AI-powered listing optimization service at listingbuddy.app and any related services.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your email address, used for authentication and account management.
• Listing data: Item descriptions, categories, conditions, and platform selections you provide when generating listings. Generated titles, descriptions, pricing suggestions, and keywords are stored in your listing history.
• Photos: Images you upload are processed by our AI service to identify items and generate listings. Photos are resized client-side before transmission and are not permanently stored on our servers after processing.
• Usage data: Monthly listing counts for managing free-tier limits.
• Payment information: Payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account information on our servers.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Listing Buddy:

• Supabase: Provides authentication, database storage, and user management. Your email and listing data are stored in Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL databases.
• Stripe: Handles payment processing and subscription management for Pro plans. Stripe's privacy policy governs how payment data is handled.
• Anthropic (Claude AI): Processes your item descriptions and photos to generate optimized listing content. Data sent to Anthropic is used solely for generating your listing and is subject to Anthropic's data usage policies.
• eBay Browse API: Used to fetch publicly available active listing data for market intelligence and price comparisons. No personal data is sent to eBay.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the listing generation service
• To authenticate your account and manage sessions
• To track usage for free-tier limits and Pro subscriptions
• To display your listing history
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To provide market intelligence data alongside generated listings

Data Retention

Your account information and listing history are retained as long as your account is active. Usage data is tracked on a monthly basis and retained for billing and limit management purposes. Photos uploaded for AI processing are not permanently stored after the listing is generated. If you delete your account, all associated data (listings, usage records, and subscription information) will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your listing data through the dashboard and history pages
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Manage your subscription and billing through the Account page
• Export your listing data by copying it from the history page

To request account deletion or data export, visit your Account page in the dashboard or contact us directly.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Row Level Security on all database tables ensuring users can only access their own data, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth.

Children's Privacy

Listing Buddy is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
